Cadillac Takes the CT5-V Blackwing to the Next Level with Precision Package

Cadillac has introduced a new Precision Package for the 2025 CT5-V Blackwing, enhancing the luxury sport sedan's track capabilities while maintaining its refined road manners. The package features a suite of chassis upgrades designed to improve vehicle dynamics and performance.
The Precision Package includes recalibrated Magnetic Ride dampers, revised track camber alignment, increased spring and bushing rates, new rear toe links, and modified front steering knuckles. These enhancements contribute to improved steering precision, increased corner stability, and enhanced road feel for spirited driving.
Brandon Vivian, Executive Chief Engineer at Cadillac, emphasized the package's versatility: "This new advanced chassis package will enable the CT5-V Blackwing to be incredibly light on its feet at all speeds both on road and on track."
A standout feature of the Precision Package is the introduction of a carbon ceramic brake package, offering superior stopping power for high-performance driving scenarios.
The 2025 CT5-V Blackwing itself boasts several updates, including a redesigned grille and front fascia with new aero ground effects and front fenders. Three new exterior colours have been added to the lineup: Drift Metallic, Deep Space Metallic, and Typhoon Metallic. Inside, the vehicle features a 33-inch-diagonal LED colour touchscreen display, showcasing Cadillac's commitment to advanced technology.
Under the hood, the CT5-V Blackwing continues to impress with its 6.2L Supercharged V-8 engine, producing 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission.

The CT5-V Blackwing with the new Precision Package will be produced at GM's Lansing Grand River Assembly facility in Michigan. Production is set to begin in early 2025, with additional details and pricing to be announced closer to the launch date.
