2025 Cadillac Escalade Gets Bold Makeover, Enhanced Features
July 30 2024,
Cadillac has revealed the 2025 Escalade, showcasing a refreshed design and cutting-edge features for its flagship luxury SUV. The updated model boasts exterior enhancements, interior upgrades, and advanced technology aimed at elevating the driving experience.
The 2025 Escalade's exterior features a bolder front-end inspired by Cadillac's CELESTIQ and LYRIQ models. Vertical lighting elements reinforce the brand's signature look, while new 24-inch wheels—the largest ever offered on an Escalade—make a striking statement. Three new exterior colours expand the palette: Aegean Stone, Deep Sea Metallic, and Latte Metallic.
Inside, the Escalade's cabin draws inspiration from the ESCALADE IQ, blending luxury with advanced technology. A standout feature is the optional Executive Second Row package, which includes stowable tray tables, 12.6-inch screens, a rear command centre, dual wireless charging pads, massaging seats, and headrest speakers. Two new interior colour schemes, Renaissance Red and Jet Black/Sheer Gray, offer fresh styling options.
Technology takes centre stage in the 2025 Escalade. A 55-inch curved pillar-to-pillar display dominates the dashboard, offering voice control, navigation, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance comes standard on all trims with a three-year trial. The AKG Studio audio system, standard with 19 speakers, can be upgraded to a 36-speaker setup or even 40 speakers with the Executive Second Row package.
Performance remains a key focus for the 2025 Escalade. Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension are included in upscale trims, while independent front and rear suspension is standard across all models. The high-performance V-Series variant continues to impress with its 6.2L Supercharged V8 engine, delivering 682 horsepower.
Production of the 2025 Escalade is expected to begin in late 2024 at GM's Arlington Assembly plant in Texas, coinciding with the facility's 70th anniversary. The SUV will be offered in six trims: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, Sport Platinum, and V-Series.
John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac, emphasized the Escalade's importance: "The Escalade has always been about bold American craftsmanship, technology and performance, and has continuously raised the standard of full-size SUV luxury since it was introduced 25 years ago."
Pricing and additional details for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade will be announced closer to its launch date.
